Transportation Around Tysons

One of the main benefits of living around Tysons is access to many different transportation options.  According to the Fairfax County Comprehensive Plan, the long term vision of the area is for 75% of all development to be located within a 1/2 mile walk of Metro.

Silver Line Metro Stations

There are 4 main metro stations in Tysons which opened in July 2014:

  • McLean - Located on Route 123 at Scotts Crossing Road
  • Tysons Corner - Located on Route 123 at Tysons Boulevard
  • Greensboro - Located on Route 7 northwest of Route 123
  • Spring Hill - Located on Route 7 at Spring Hill Road

Tysons Bus Routes

There are 18 Metro bus lines that serve Tysons and the surrounding Northern Virginia area.

In addition to these bus lines, there are 2 Tysons Circulator Bus routes (422, 423, 424) that loop around the Tysons area all day.  These are operated by Fairfax Connector.
